Another Appt. & an AMAZING weekend

Yesterday we had our 15 Week Appointment.  It was a quick and easy appointment.  Urine sample, heartbeat (which she could not hear at first but then it was a strong 151 beats) questions, etc.  We then made our appointments for our big 20 week US and appt.   This is where they will measure the baby to make sure everything looks good and can tell us the gender (which we will not be finding out—more on that later).  We also got the results of my bloodwork from last time and everything looked great.  Overall, everything went great! Oh, and I gained 1 pound (which I am not quite sure is right--I think it is way more judging by this big ole bump I already have going on!) 

Happy news--remember that cute "little" bump I have been patiently been waiting on to pop out??  IT DID in all it's glory--I can't say it is "little" but it finally made it's way out! :)  It was even pointed out to me yesterday at school (by someone who just realized I was pregnant now that I am showing) that I am "kinda big" for only being 3 1/2 months along.  Gee thanks--way to burst my bubble since I was so happy to finally see it!  Oh well, as Nathan told me if the Doctors are not concerned then do not worry about what other people tell me!  I am just so happy to finally feel pregnant and am really savoring every second with this little miracle God has blessed us with! :)

On another note, I just got back from the most AMAZING 3 days away.  I was at the ACTS retreat this past weekend and gained so much in my faith and am trying to more fully live it out in my daily life.  I think it was the most appropriate time in my life and I realized even more how blessed we are to be having this baby and know no matter what obstacles can pop up we will get through it with the help of God.
