At 9 months she is:
- wearing 9 month clothes
- wearing size 3 diapers
- still only drinks breast milk....nurses in the morning and at night and has 2 6 oz bottles of pumped milk now that I have returned to work
- Started eating breakfast, lunch, and supper this week....still mainly baby food but I have been trying solids. Solids seem to scare me to death!!! She has choked pretty much on every feeding since the day she was born so anytime we give her anything more than a puree she seems to choke. I have been taking our meals though and placing them in the blender and letting her eat that. She does well with those but just can't do "solid" food yet. I have chopped some stuff up and laid on her tray to get her to pick it up and that is a no go for her too. :) Not sure if she is just unsure of it or lazy.
- Practices using a sippy cup with supper.
- She has this little screeching scream she does when happy, mad, tired, etc. It is cute, yet loud!
- Crawls everywhere super fast!
- Pulls up to her knees and tries to go all the way up. Will pull up all the way if you hold her hands.
- Doea a "crab walk"...walks with feet and hands with butt up in the air.
- LOVES LOVES LOVES her big sister!
- Laughs alot and does some cute little screeching sounds too.
- I think she weighed 18 pounds 2 weeks ago at the Dr.
- Is such a little cuddler!
- Still a momma's girl! :) I love it! She will lay her head down on my shoulder and just melt....she has started clinging to me when someone tries to take her away.
- Takes 1 nap/day (and has been for sometime.....my girls never got the 2 naps a day as a baby memo :))
- Usually sleeps from 7:30 pm-6 am
- She loves the water and absolutely loves bath time!
- She knows where all the toys are and loves to get in the toy boxes now to choose what she wants to play with.
- Still only has her 2 bottom teeth...but after a mouth check this morning there are 3 more that have already broke the skin so they should be showing their pearly appearance this week! One more on the bottom and the 2 top ones.
- Is allergic to milk/dairy (will blog about this experience soon)
- has become a wild little thing...she is at the age/stage where everything is a battle! Getting her dressed, diaper changed, etc. is hard work!!! She won't be still, sits up, flips over, tries to crawl away, etc.
- She has alot of hair and has long hair in the front just like her sister did. She does not like pontyails, bows, etc. right now and rips them out as soon as they go in. UGH! :)
She is still an amazingly good baby! She is super sweet and such a wonderful addition to her family. It is hard to remember what life was like without her and I am sooo glad she is ours! We love you sweet girl!!!
