In true fashion of my kids, we could not leave without B having a poop explosion all over Kim's white fur prop. But, hey what do you expect when you take their diaper off and leave them naked?? :) Because of this incident, we were not able to get the picture N and I were most wanting. Bummer! :( We spent over 2.5 hours at our photoshoot and our little girls are just NOT cooperative. She tried to hard to position them, but they are pretty strong-willed and make sure to get in the position they want. P was the same way in her newborn pics! UGH! :)
On Thursday, December 6, before heading out to take pictures, we woke up to find that St. Nick had made a stop at our house. Though P does not yet fully understand, Mommy was excited and had fun seeing what goodies he left. :)
On Friday, December 7, Breckyn had her 2 week check-up with the Dr. & the second round of the newborn screen. In the meantime P had started coughing again and had a yucky, runny, green nose. We called the Dr. to see if we could bring her in too and we did. Turned out she was beginning a sinus infection so they started her on an antibiotic and I was hoping B would stay well since she was only 2 weeks old. B checked out great again and already weighed 7 lbs 10 oz. She is in the 25% percentile in head circumference and weight and 75 % in height. Not sure where my girls get their height from...definitely not their momma!
Before going to the Dr....mommy broke the rules and held her first baby! (Daddy handed her to me though...so I didn't pick her up!) :)
