7 months

Our little princess is 7 months old today. She continues to grow and change everyday and continues to bring soo many smiles and such happiness into our lives!
Here is what she is up to:
Wearing 6 month clothes
Size 2 Diapers
Drinks 5-6 oz bottles/day
Eats a fruit in the morning and a veggie in the evening
What she has eaten so far: apples, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, pears, bananas
Up next to try: mangos, avocados, peaches
Her favorite so far-sweet potatoes, apples, pears
Her least favorite-she refuses to eat green beans

She practices with her sippy cup during her evening meal.
She is way more interested in what we are eating/drinking than what she is.
IF we have a cup in our hand or anywhere near us she is so focused on that cup and trying to get it that she will not pay attention to you or anything else. She opens her mouth until you let her have it. J Such a little turkey!

She is still sooo active—her hands and feet are always moving
She plays soo good by herself. She will sit and play (or roll around the room getting into anything that looks appealing) for a long time. Sometimes if she sees us while she is playing she will cry if we walk off.
When she sees you she lights up with a big ole smile!
Her skin seems to be getting a little better with the exception of the extremely dry/scaly patches on both of her legs.
She LOVES to bounce in her exersaucer.
She LOVES to be outside—if you even walk close to the door she starts kicking her legs, flailing her arms, and smiling until you take her out.
She has her 2 bottom teeth with at least one more trying to break through. The first 2 popped out without us even noticing, this next one seems to be bothering her a little more.
She only cries really when she is really tired.
She is definitely a little water baby! She gives me a heart attack every night in the bath-tub, and I can only imagine what this summer holds. She pulls herself up to the front of her tub and squats her legs like a little frog then bounces up and down.
She refuses to lay down, you even have to push her chest down when changing her diaper, etc. She only wants to be sitting up or standing. Sometimes she locks her legs while standing and it takes everything to get her to just sit down so I can finish getting her dressed, etc.
Talks, talks, talks! J Her little voice is soo sweet!
She will grab AND destroy ANYTHING in her reach.
If she is on her tummy, she will grab anything hard or sturdy (swing legs, chair leg, etc) and pull herself forward on the floor.
Got up on all fours and stayed that way for a while last night (AND more than once-more on that to come!)
LOVES kisses, if you make kissing sounds and kiss her face she is ALL grins.
Mommy can get some laughs out of her if we play “cheer-leader”. We have all kinds of silly Ricebird cheers made up where I say a “cheer” and move around her arms and legs and little Miss thinks it is soo funny!

THis is how our photo session went down this morning....pictures just get more fun each day now that she is soo active. :)
