Our little princess turned 4 months old on Thursday. She brings such joy to our lives and we love spending all of our time, money, and love on her! Here are a few 4 month stats:
She is starting to get the most adorable little fat rolls
She is oh-so observant, takes EVERYTHING in, and just follows our every move. Her teachers at school comment all the time at how she just sits there and watches everything that goes on.
She is finally a little more content at school….she used to cry everyday when I left her.
She cries (no, screams) when we first get out in public. I think she gets overwhelmed when we are around a bunch of people and it takes her a while to calm down.
Size 1 diapers
She wears 3 month clothes—This weekend I did switch to her 6 month sleepers because she is soooo long and her legs were bent because she could not stretch with the footies in the 3 month ones.
She weighed in at 12 lbs 2 oz (25%) and is 24 “ long (right above the 25%)—these measurements differ from the Dr. here in EC, but since we are starting new we will just go with these measurements.
Her head is measuring 15 ¼” (which is measuring small)….they came in 3 different times to measure her head to make sure they were getting it right…the Dr. is not concerned about it since it is consistent with when she was born and has grown at the right pace for her—she just has a tiny head…J
She rolls over both ways
She talks up a storm—her voice has changed soo much and she lets out the cutest little shrieks and carries on these high pitched conversations with herself
Loves to play with ALL of her toys
Puts everything in her mouth, but her whole fist is her favorite thing of all.
Is super happy in the morning
Still a breast fed baby, but we are supplementing (unfortunately more than we would like to be) with formula
Has started rice cereal (more on that later)
Sleeps in the car anytime we go farther than school or in EC
Still sleeps through the night (with the exception of the last 2 weeks and only because her bad cough has been waking her up)
Smiles ALOT
