7 Months

My little sweet cheeks was 7 months old yesterday.  She is soo much more fun each and every day!  Here are a few of her stats...

• Wearing size 3 diapers
• Wearing 6 month clothes
• Still exclusively breast fed :)  She nurses 5-6 times a day.
• She is eating solids now also...so far she has had: carrots, zucchini, sweet potatoes, peas, green beans....she liked all but the peas but when I mix them with carrots or zucchini she eats them fine.
• Yesterday we started on fruits by adding a second time to eat--breakfast.  We started with peaches and I have pears and blueberries already made.  I am making all of her baby food at this point.  It is working out great.  I started out making P's for her but after a little while could not keep up and we ended up buying baby food.  So far, so good and I have a good stock of fruits and veggie puree ready to go.  If things get crazy when I head back to work and the homemade kind is no longer working for us, then we are fine having to buy organic food from store, but for right now it is all homemade and she is loving it!
• She is practicing with a sippy cup a little with her supper.
• She can completely sit up by herself.
• No teeth yet and I am A-OK with that as I love her big gummy smile.  She gnaws on everything (especiallly my shoulder/arms/fingers and has given me 2 hickeys this week) though and drools alot so they will be in at some point.
• She is sleeping through the night!! Halleluijah!!! From about 7:30 pm-5:30-6 ish am
• She loves bath time and swim time...another water baby!
• She is  a momma's girl....she notices when I leave the room and will cry or whine for me.
• She usually only cries when really tired or really hungry...she is a pretty content baby!
• She loves loves loves her big sister!  She laughs at her like no other!  She likes to laugh and loves to do it!  Her neck/chin and her thighs are her little tickle spots!
• She will grab for anything and everything...she has scooted on her belly a tiny bit to get something but other than that she doesn't move much...she is so laid back compared to her sister!
• She does not do a whole lot of talking (really only when she is laying by herself in her bed) since her sister is always talking for her...:)  SHe does let out some piercing little yelps here and there though.
• We have discovered a healthy cream that works for her skin and have gotten her eczema under control.
• She LOVES to smile and looks soo cute doing so!
• LOVES kisses...hates getting in the car seat!
• She is a little cuddle/snuggle baby!

Overall, she is a super happy and sweet baby girl!  We are soo blessed we get to call Miss Breckyn Kate ours!! :)  Happy 7 months Baby Girl!!
