This little cutie is already 3 months old! I say it every month and I am saying it again…I cannot believe she is already 3 months old!
Here is what little Miss is up to:
- o Wearing 3 month clothes
- o Going to start wearing size 2 diapers this week when we finish our 1’s
- o Exclusively breastfed—takes 3 4 oz. bottles of pumped milk at school during the week
- o Had a sick visit last week and weighed in at 12 lbs 6 oz (I think…Daddy took both of them J by himself and he was a little overwhelmed and the Dr. did not write down for him and he thinks that is what she weighed J)
- o Pulls herself up in a crunch position (especially when she’s mad)
- o Is a VERY happy baby…has the biggest smile and smiles all the time!! J
- o Usually only cries when going in car-seat, when hungry, or tired
- o She loves to be talked to and loves watching her big sister talk to her and play near her
- o Is making LOTS of sounds…cute little coos! She is super close to laughing out loud too! I can’t wait!
- o Still has a lot of dark hair (although she has lost a big patch in the back and seems to have lost a lot of the under layer of her hair….I am hoping she keeps everything she still has though!)
- o Sleeps through the night—usually 7 ish pm-5 am
- o Her little hands stay busy and usually are in little fists looking like she is boxing J
- o She is getting very strong and is starting to arch her back and get stiff if you are trying to sit her on your lap or any other position she doesn't want to be in
- o She has not rolled over yet (but is oh so close to doing so), but she can turn in circles on the floor like no other…I set her in one place and she goes to town wriggling around
- o Likes to sit up in her bumbo and be in the middle of whatever we are doing.
- o Loves to chew on her little fists—she will take the paci but usually only at night or if she is really tired…she prefers her hands
- o She is getting a little better about getting dressed—she used to totally freak out when you were dressing her and had to pull anything over her head…she would flail and gasp for air like she couldn’t breathe (dramatic, I know J)…but now tolerates it a little better.
- o She is still sleeping in our room but should be moving into her new room this weekend. L I think we will all sleep a little better but I love having her so close. The girls rooms are right next to one another and I am worried about her crying waking Paislyn up but we shall see.
- We are soo blessed to have this sweet baby girl in our family! Her addition has made us double our love (and workload, LOL J) and it is true when they say you can’t imagine/remember what your life was like before. Just last night I asked N if he remembered what our life was like with just P….I can’t remember what it was like and how I must have had soo much more free time and I am wondering what I did with it. I feel like I don’t have time to breathe these days. With 2 babies, someone always needs something and I usually only sit down to feed a baby and sleep at night….I am NON-STOP every other waking moment I am home! It’s a full time job just being at home before and after school, but I would not have it any other way! These adorable faces make every minute worthwhile!
A sweet shot of B sleeping with Daddy the other night on the couch.
