When I got to school to pick up Little Miss on Tuesday this is what I saw. She got bit. Poor baby--the teacher said she was just playing by herself minding her own business (she is still the youngest in her class and the only one that does not walk/crawl) and another kid just came up for NO reason and bit her on her knee. It did not break the skin, just had red teeth marks in the shape of a mouth, and I had to sign the first accident report for her. Today the red marks have turned into a bruise and she has a purple bruise in the shape of a mouth.
Now, I understand these things having worked in day-care myself. Daddy, on the other hand, does NOT and just wanted to tear some little kid up for hurting his baby girl (not really those words, but you get the idea).
I had a talk with Paislyn about how biting is not a good choice and to not get any ideas to ever bite anyone. Daddy (on the other hand, again) told her to "bite the kid back"...UGH! We have got a lot of teaching to do to Daddy! :)
(The pics are a little blurry, but the best I could do with such a wiggly little subject!) LOL!
