Knox is 7 months old! Seriously, I think I just had him yesterday...not sure where all the time went!
At 7 months he is:
- Busting out of size 3 diapers
- Wearing 9 month clothes and 12 month sleepers
- Weighs 17 pounds...he's a big ole boy!
- Still has 2 teeth
- Nursing/feeding the same only difference is he is now biting (UGH! Not fun!) me and those 2 baby teeth hurt like heck!!!!!!
- On his 7 month b-day we added fruit to his diet. So far he has had peaches and pears. He is a great eater and loves it all!
- Scooting around the room just by bouncing/hopping on his little hiney….seriously he moves around!
- He gets up on all 4’s and rocks but then when he tries to reach for something he lays back down on his tummy and scoots/slides to get it and can army crawl already like nobody's business!! When B was born P was still a baby so I have never experienced having a baby with “big girl toys” around. Seriously y’all, those dang barbie shoes, hair clippies, magnet sets, etc. are stressing me out!!! He goes for it all and the girls don’t understand totally about keeping everything put up and away!
- He still loves the bathtub….AND now that I am learning what it is like to raise a little boy…we have found our little “goods” and in true little boy fashion the hands grab and pull on it every single chance they get. AND YES I now know this is normal as I have been asking around to lots of “boy moms” because this caught me a little off-guard. I knew it was “Normal” but to the degree and “roughness” he does it is beyond me. LOL! We’re learning new things everyday now! His teachers at school laugh and tell him he better “quit because he’s going to pull it off and then what will he do?!?!” Its funny!
- He grabs for everything. EVERYTHING!
- He is loud! He loves to talk to us with sweet little coos but he also lets us know he is there with his high pitched screechy sounds too.
Overall, he is a really happy baby but has really been starting to let us know when he is unhappy or upset or simply that he is mad we have put him down.J
