2 weekends ago N and I attended the "Choosing to L.O.V.E. retreat" (Living Our Vows Everyday) through our church with Fr. Gary. It was an AMAZING weekend!! There are not enough words to describe how fabulous it was!
I have been wanting to go for the last 2 years but had a small baby each year that I would not leave over-night. This year since the girls were a little older, I knew we should take the opportunity while we could! I was hesitant about leaving them (esp. B) over night for 2 nights. She has spent the night with my parents 2 or 3 different times for 1 night at a time. The last time P slept over for more than 1 night was when we were in the hospital having Breckyn (14 months ago). I know they are in good hands with my parents, I just like them with me at night so I can check on them and see they are okay.
Everything went well....I picked them up from school on Friday afternoon and N and I both dropped them off at my parents. They were fine when we left. They stayed until Sunday afternoon when we made it back. These are a few pictures I received throughout the weekend (of course, sent at my request of needing to "see" my babies).
