The Drapela Family: 10 Months

Already?!?!

Little Miss B is just growing way too fast and inching soo close to the 1 year mark. Yikes!

At 10 months she:

Wears size 3 diapers
9 month clothes
sleeps from around 7:30 ish -5:30 ish a.m. & takes 1 nap/day approx. 1.5 hours long
Still only drinks breast-milk....Nurses morning and night and takes 2 bottles of pumped milk while at the sitter's during the day. She gets a sippy cup with a tiny amount of water at meals and does fantastic with it. She even tries to steal sister's drinks at other times. :)
Is on all table food....it is a little tricky feeding her with her milk allergy, but we find plenty of options so that she gets a balanced meal
Pulls up and stands up on her own. She will walk holding our hand or onto something, but is a little too uncertain about taking a solo step. I do not think it will be much longer though.
Has 5 big ole teeth. :) and had used them to bite on more than one occasion. :(
Puts EVERYTHING in her mouth.
Claps all the time and waves bye-bye
says Ma-Ma :) YAY!!! So far it is her first and only "word". She is a pretty quiet little one. She babbles here and there but mostly she is quiet.
This sweet and laid back baby has done a 360 on us and is now totally our little wild child! She is out of control! :) She is still a HAPPY HAPPY baby but she is starting to whine/throw little fits when Paislyn takes a toy from her or when she doesn't get her way (oh boy!).
She throws everything! No matter what she sees or has she will pick it up just to throw it down.
She is as tough as they come! The child feels no pain and nothing bothers her.
She loves her sister! She wants to keep up with everything she does and everywhere she goes (her sister, on the other hand, is starting to become possessive of her things (esp. her new b-day presents) so this causes some of the aforementioned fit throwing)
She has perfected the car-seat protest to a "T"! :) She is very good at arching her back and throwing herself around where it makes it very hard for me to get her buckled in.

Our morning photo shoot for her 10th month did not go so well Tuesday morning.

Little monkey!

My hired help (aka Paislyn :)) tried to entertain her by giving her cheerios but then B took the whole bowl and that made P mad so then I had 2 mad and fussy girls!
