1 month old

(Even though she is already 2 months old, here is her one month post now that I have picture capabilities.)

Christmas Eve marked Miss Breckyn's 1 month birthday.  Here is what she is up to at one month old:

She is wearing newborn diapers & clothes.

She is currently sleeping from around 11-12 ish-3 ish, then eats and back to sleep until 6 ish (this is the hardest part of the day...although we get a good long stretch she always is up and wanting to play as soon as we want to lay down for the night.  It is very frustrating but we are so thankful to have her.)  I think it is just so hard because we are used to Paislyn going to bed so easy and sleeping through the night and now we are adjusting to a newborn sleep schedule again.

She is strictly breastfed and takes a paci sometimes but does not have to have it.

Is a pretty easy-going baby, only cries if she is hungry, her diaper is dirty, or she  is overly tired.

She has very dark hair and ALOT of it (and a crazy little cowlick/grandpa hair :) on the side of her head).  B has the cutest chunky cheeks.   I am not sure where she gets those from...she does not look like N or I or Paislyn.  She has her own distinctive look.  She is much calmer and more mellow than Paislyn was at this age.  She is content to just lay and look around or be held.  (I am sure it does not help having a big sister in her face all the time, or covering her up with blankets, or hitting/patting her, etc.)

Oh my...I forgot how much laundry a newborn creates (and is has only been a few months since I had one).  Between the outfits and burp rags, WOW, I am doing the girls laundry like every other day.  They definitely keep me one busy momma!

She is such a sweet baby girl and we are sooo blessed that she is here and she is OURS!

(This is Paislyn at 1 month old...they do not look alike...they each have such different features)
