Week # 1

We came home on Monday (11/26) and had a fairly uneventful week. B did great, P however had a little harder time adjusting.  It was hard on me because I just wanted to be back to our normal routine + a baby, however, I could not do much and was not allowed to lift P (due to my stitches) so I could not even pick her up or anything....I felt so bad and she did not understand what was going on.  She was really testing us and our patience was thin but we all survived!  We had to watch her really close as if she got close to the baby she would hit her, etc.  She also waved at her all the time saying
'bye baby".

1 week old...she did alot of sleeping.  We even had to wake her to eat.

We took Breckyn to the Dr. on Friday and she was already back up to 7 lbs 3 oz so the Dr. was very pleased (she was  lbs 12 oz when we left hospital on Monday)!  She could not believe how healthy and pink she was and how nice her skin already looked after not even being a week old.  We were very happy!!
