Halloween Fun

Sooo....I am not big on the commercialized costumes...I am more of a homemade, original kind of gal!  With that being said, I kept trying to come up with the perfect idea of what I (or rather my mom & I :)) could make for Paislyn to be.  Well, my loving husband convinced me that at 8-9 months pregnant I had plenty of other things on my plate, was too tired and pregnant, and I should just order her a costume.  :(  I finally obliged and was kind of excited to not have to worry about it anymore.  I ordered it a month ago and then a week before Halloween was getting concerned that it wasnt here.  After a few e-mails and phone calls, the order was finally cancelled because they had been over-sold and would not be receiving them in time.  Bummer! What to do now...well my handy mom started searching ideas to help me out and we came up with a super easy and cute one!

We had a sweet little Pebbles for Halloween this year.  Super cheap! Super easy!  And since she maybe only wore it a total of an hour and a half between her school party and trick or treating, I am glad to have saved the money!

Here is our 6 week old baby on her first Halloween:

And this year as Little Miss Pebbles:

At her school party:

Her bone on her head was a little "off" :)

A little pumpkin carving at home with Mommy the day before Halloween....not so much carving but we were trying to have a sensory experience....she is still not fond of her hands getting dirty unless it is carrying rocks from the driveway.  She is her father's child! LOL

She just wanted to go back outside...not having to touch the silly pumpkin.

Getting her fingers dirty....she quickly flung her hands up and the sticky seeds went flying.

She didn't mind touching the stem
