This pic was taken last week at 33 weeks. I had an appt. 2 weeks ago and the heartrate was 144…..the lowest it has ever been. Paislyn always stayed in the mid-high 150’s and this baby had been the same way until 2 weeks ago. Last Friday the heartbeat was 141. It has made it interesting to say the least. I found out last time I passed my glucose and anemia tests…yay! I have another appt. and ultrasound next week and then every week after that until the baby arrives. The last few days are here (45 to be exact I think). I am soooo ready to not be pregnant! (Although I still try not to complain and I would not trade it for the world.) I do know that as chaotic as I think my life is right now, it will be even more so when the baby is here so he/she can just keep cooking away! J I am just ready to be back to my normal size/have my normal energy/wear normal clothes/be able to breathe, etc. J Although I feel like a huge cow, I have only put on 13 pounds so far. That is less than at the same point with Paislyn so hopefully the next few weeks stay this way. I think always being on the go and chasing after my busy little bee help in that department. Speaking of busy little bee, this little one is proving to be ALMOST as active as P was in the womb. She never EVER stopped moving and this one is running a close race. J The only difference is that Paislyn always moved on my left side and this one makes all movement on my right side, so it seems they are just laying opposite directions. My Dr. thinks this one is head down, butt on the left, and legs/feet on the right kicking me. We shall find out next week during the ultrasound. J
With this being the second baby everything just seems to be put off/forgotten about. With Paislyn I had us packed and ready to go at 30 weeks. With this one packing is just still a thought in my head. I am going to try and take care of packing me this week, but the hardest part seems to be packing Paislyn. The weather is so unpredictable in November so I am having a hard time figuring out what to pack for her.
Last week after my appt. we did go shopping for baby stuff though. I wanted to get the things I would need for recovery when we get home from hospital, have both babies stocked in all departments so I would not have to worry about running out, etc. We also had not bought any diapers, etc. for the baby.
This is what happens when you are stocking up for both babies! J
Yes that is 431 diapers + 784 wipes / 2 kids = approx 1 month’s worth (maybe!). J Oh, how all our money is spent these days! J
The stressful part to all of this is that I am trying to start & finish all of my Christmas shopping as well. Having a baby at the end of November means I will be out of shopping commission in December and the closer it gets to my due date the harder shopping becomes. So….even though Christmas is not on most people’s minds, it HAS to be on mine or it wouldn’t get done. Thinking about having a new baby + shopping for all Christmas gifts + working full time/keeping up a house/chasing after and entertaining a toddler = 1 TIRED PREGNANT MOMMA! J It is a blessed life to lead though!
I love the picture of all of the diapers and wipes! Sad how quickly that pile will dwindle down though, lol. I have started Christmas shopping too already, so you aren't alone!
