1 year Photo-shoot

A few weeks ago we had Paislyn's 1 year photo shoot.  I was a little worried about how this was going to go since she is so "on the go" and can be a little moody/stubborn :) when it comes to doing certain things.  She also had horrible allergies all that week so I was a little stressed about it.  Well, she really wanted NOTHING to do with taking pictures.  She did the same thing for Kim (our photographer) that she does with us all the time--she just walks toward you and the camera instead of just standing/sitting there.  She also did not want to smile for her at all.  UGH!  The life of a 1 year old! :)  She wanted anything we were using to make her laugh/smile (bells, baby, teddy bear, etc) and if we didnt give it to her she was whining...omg!

She wanted NOTHING to do with the cake smash either....the icing you see everywhere is from her.  She touched the icing and then slung her hands over and over to get the icing off.  THe mess in the cake is from Nathan digging his hands in it to try and get her to do the same thing.  No such luck!  She was having no part of eating that thing or having her hands dirty with pink icing. LOL!
