11 months

WOW! So hard to believe 11 short months have come and gone for our little princess.  As I say every month, she is such a blessing to us and continues to bring so much joy into our lives each and everyday.  We are soo lucky to have been chosen to be her parents! :)

Here are some 11 month stats:

Wearing size 9 month clothes

Wearing size 3 diapers

Takes 3 bottles a day and eats breakfast, lunch, snack, and supper.  She eats whatever we eat or cook for her.  She stopped eating baby food last month and will pretty much eat whatever we put in front of her.  She is pretty easy going.

She still goes to sleep soo easy.  When she is tired or it is bed/nap time, we just lay her in her bed with a paci and blankie (which promptly gets removed as soon as she falls asleep), turn on her music, and walk out and she falls fast asleep.

The only down-side to this is we never have the opportunity to hold her while she sleeps on us.  THis girl is WAY TOO MUCH of a mover and shaker to even think about being a cuddle baby.  SHe will never go to sleep if you hold her.....she has to calm down and just go to sleep in her bed.

She still loves to dance and takes every opportuntiy to do so.  The funny thing is her white girl moves have gone from just bouncing with the music to full blown jumping with feet coming off the floor now.  Wild Thing! :)

Has 5 teeth completely out and at least 3 more that are right at the surface that we can see.

She still points at anything and everything.  She thinks it is just so hilarious.

She loves looking at pictures and playing/carrying around her stuffed animals and baby doll.

Sweet girl is definitely a talker.  The other day I swear she carried on a conversation with herself for a good 15-20 minutes just a babbling away.  Some of her favorite words that she says repeatedly and that we can understand are: mama, dada, nah-nah-nah (no, no, no--can you tell she hears that alot?!?!), ma (more-when she is eating), ooh---ooh (ugh-oh but it is long and drawn out...we say this when she falls or something)

She still LOVES to read her books and plays with her balls.  We got some great footage of her reading her books in the bathtub.  She just babbles away and points at all the pictures like she is reading it.  She turns the pages and just keeps reading.  Such a scholarly baby! :)

She is a lean, mean, walking machine.  Baby girl walks all the time like a big girl now.  It is adorable, she just follows me everywhere.  No more crawling going on over here.

She LOVES any electronic gadgets.  She has always loved our phones, but now has discovered our safe with an electronic keypad and I cannot keep her away from it...ugh! :)

She is still such a good baby and never cries unless she is really tired.

If we are out and about she will not sleep.  The other day she went from 6:30 am-10 pm with only a 50 minute nap because we were gone and around a lot of people.  She was delirious but refused to stop and slow down....she was still dancing and playing at 10 pm.

This past weekend (while my husband worked his butt off replacing every single window in our house) my mom came over and painted P's new "big girl room".  We have everything bought and ready.  Now that the room is painted and windows are replaced we can start putting her new furniture together and see this little princess' space come together. :)

Unfortunately, I have to head back to work tomorrow and she has to start back at school full-time! :(  THis summer has been great with my little lady and I am so lucky I got to be with her as she turned 9, 10, & 11 months old. 

I love you to the moon and back sweet girl and I am so proud to be called your mommy! :)  Happy 11 months baby girl!
